Wayne Stone Logging, Inc. operates two yarder sides and one mechanized side year round, specializing in long span cable yarding. We have a wide range of equipment to tackle any type of job and terrain.

Our highly trained, skilled employees can get the job done safely and efficiently. We also have the equipment and knowledge necessary to build and maintain logging roads. This cuts down on costs and downtime if we had to sub this out to a contractor. Wayne Stone Logging, Inc. employs two full time mechanics to ensure that all equipment and trucks are in safe working order which leads to little or no down time for our crews.

In addition to the logging equipment Wayne Stone operates nine log trucks and two lowboys under Wayne Stone Trucking, LLC. Wayne Stone Trucking, LLC. has the capability to move wood fast and efficiently from the job site to the mill as well as moving equipment from job to job.

We utilize subcontractors to do some of our hand-falling, but also employ a select few hand cutters under Cascade Timber Falling Inc .

Careful scheduling and planning of all these crews means we’re able to complete all our contracts in a timely manner and always ready to take on the next job, leaving little to no downtime for our employees.
